Abstract

Dalam pemilihan produk skincare, user masih sering mengalami kesalahan memilih dikarenakan kurangnya pengenalan terhadap masing-masing jenis kulit, ditambah lagi dengan banyaknya berbagai macam jenis produk skincare itu sendiri. Sehingga user terkadang menjadi kesulitan dalam menentukan produk skincare yang tepat untuk digunakan. Penggunaan skincare yang tidak tepat akan menimbulkan dampak yang buruk untuk kulit wajah seperti breakout maupun iritasi. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, maka dibutuhkan sistem yang dapat merekomendasi produk skincare yang sesuai dengan kebutuhan user. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang sebuah sistem berbasis website yang dapat memberikan rekomendasi produk skincare kepada user berdasarkan produk yang telah dirating sebelumnya. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode Collaborative Filltering. Dimana, proses rekomendasi dilakukan dengan pemberian rating terhadap suatu produk yang kemudian rating tertinggi dari produk tersebut akan menjadi produk popular dari produk tersebut. Setiap user dapat memberikan rating di setiap produknya, sehingga jika ada dua atau lebih user memberikan rating, maka nilai rating tersebut akan dihitung nilai rata-rata. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa metode Collaborative Filltering ini dinilai mampu memberikan hasil rekomendasi yang cukup baik. In the selection of skincare products, users often experience errors in choosing because they do not know each skin type, coupled with various types of skincare products themselves. So that users become comfortable in determining the right skincare products to use. The use of inappropriate skincare will have a bad impact on facial skin such as breakouts and irritation. Based on these problems, a system is needed that can recommend skin care products according to user needs. This study aims to design a website-based system that can provide recommendations for skincare products to users based on products that have been previously rated. This research was conducted using the Collaborative Filltering method. Where, the recommendation process is carried out by giving a rating to a product which then the highest rating of the product will become a popular product of the product. Each user can give a rating on each product, so if there are two or more users give a rating, then the rating value will be calculated as an average value. From these results, it can be concluded that the Collaborative Filltering method is considered capable of providing good recommendation results.
