Abstract

This study examines the relationship of emotional intelligence and organizational commitment moderated by leadership style affects the performance of teachers, is a case study in the Junior High School teacher in Pekalongan. This study uses a descriptive quantitative approach to the respondent Junior High School teacher some 320 people. With Proportional random sampling techniques, sample counted as many as 176 people. From the analysis of coefficient of determination (R2), the amount of Adjusted R Square of 0.365 means that 36.5% of variance teacher performance is affected by the variance of emotional intelligence and organizational commitment. That is positive and significant impact on teacher performance. The remainder of 63.5% is influenced by other variables outside the model. Based on the obtained value of F-test count of 21,100 with a significance level of 0.000, the regression model can be used to predict the performance Teacher variables is jointly influenced by emotional intelligence and organizational commitment positively and significant. Leadership Style is not moderate the influence of emotional intelligence and organizational commitment on teacher performance shown in the results of the t-test 0.065 with significance 0.571> 0.05 and 0.025 t-test with a significance value of 0.829> 0.05.
