Abstract
Penelitian ini menguji pengaruh profitabilitas dan ukuran perusahaan terhadap nilai perusahaan. Sampel pada penelitian ini menggunakan 104 data dari 26 perusahaan manufaktur yang terdaftar di Bursa Efek Indonesia untuk periode 2014-2017 dengan menggunakan metode purposive sampling. Alat analisis yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji asumsi klasik, uji regresi linear berganda, uji model, uji hipotesis. Hasil dari peneltian ini menunjukan bahwa profitabilitas (ROE) berpengaruh negatif namun tidak signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan (tobin‟s q). Ukuran perusahaan berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap nilai perusahaan (tobin‟s q). This study considers the effect of profitability and firm size on firm value. The sample in this study used 104 data from 26 manufacturing companies reported on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2014-2017 period using a purposive sampling method. The analytical tool used is the normality test, the classic assumption test, linear regression test, model test, hypothesis test. The results of the research shows that the profitability (ROE) has a negative yet insignificant effect on firm value (Tobin's q). The firm value is negative and significant to firm size.
