Abstract
This study discusses Love to Death Romeo to Juliet in Romeo and Juliet movies which aims to find out the conflict faced by Romeo who falls in love to Juliet and how did Romeo do to get Juliet’s love by using a psychological approach especially from Sigmund Freud. This approach is used to analyze three human souls namely Id, Ego, Superego. The researcher watches the movie and downloads the movie script as a method of collecting data. The result of this research is that Romeo faced a lot of conflicts when he wanted to get Juliet. There are four conflicts that Romeo must face namely intra-personal conflict, inter-personal conflict, intergroup conflict, and intra-group Conflict. The researcher also found three human souls namely the Id, the Ego and the Superego between Romeo and Juliet. Both of them have the same love for each other, trying to have each other but this does not bring the impact of happiness on them and their families.
